Matt trained as an electrician in his mid-20s after working at Gatwick Airport for a number of years. He was employed as an electrician during his training and continued with the same company after qualifying. After 10 years of gaining valuable experience as an employed electrician he decided it was time to venture out on his own.
Sam worked in education for over a decade teaching Literacy, Numeracy and ICT to construction students and students with learning difficulties. She is also a qualified NVQ Assessor in Business Administration, Customer Service and Team Leading. Due to the success of Matthew Murphy Electrical Services she is now employed full time by the company.
Gary joined the company in 2014 as a mature apprentice. Gary also worked in education for almost 10 years where he was a specialist support worker for people with disabilities. He has an abundance of experience working people with disabilities ranging from physical, learning, emotional and social.
Greg spent many years working as a Support Worker in a mental health setting but always had a passion for fixing things and taking them apart to see how they work. He joined the company after deciding to develop that passion into a career in electrical installation and maintenance.
Paul is experienced in general maintenance and works for us when our customers need some help carrying out general repairs to their homes. Paul has been a Green Keeper and maintenance engineer at a number of Sussex golf courses since leaving school.
Rachel spent many years as a Bank Manager for a large international banking chain.
